DPV Diver
Fly a diver propulsion vehicle — reefs and wrecks beyond finning distance.
About The Course
A diver propulsion vehicle multiplies your range — the far side of the reef, the wreck beyond the swim, the current that would otherwise end the dive. DPV Diver teaches you to fly one properly: trigger and speed control, trim behind the prop wash, and the depth discipline that matters when a machine can change your depth faster than your ears can follow.
It is also a planning course. A scooter takes you a long way out in a hurry, so we train distance-based turn points, gas reserves that assume the motor dies at the worst possible moment, and how to tow a buddy — or a dead vehicle — home. Pure fun on the reef, and a serious tool on long wreck approaches with stages in tow.
