About The Course
A closed-circuit rebreather recycles your breathing gas, scrubs the carbon dioxide and adds only the oxygen you metabolise — no bubbles, warm moist gas, and dramatically extended range and bottom time. It is the pinnacle of technical diving, and our flagship discipline.
We train CCR on the JJ-CCR and the Dive Rite O₂ptima, from your first air-diluent dives through to mixed-gas trimix CCR — drilled until the loop, the bailout and the checklist are second nature.

Prerequisites
- Air Diluent CCR: minimum age 18; 20 logged open water dives; Nitrox certification (TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent, which may be taken together with this course)
- Air Diluent CCR Decompression: minimum age 18; 50 logged dives; TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures (or equivalent); at least 5 logged staged decompression dives to 30 m or deeper
- Helitrox CCR Decompression: minimum age 18; 50 logged dives; certification as TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver, Decompression Procedures Diver or Helitrox Diver (or equivalent); at least 5 logged staged decompression dives to 30 m or deeper
- Or, for either decompression level: Air Diluent CCR certified, with at least 30 hours and 30 dives on the unit and six months of CCR diving
- Changing to a different rebreather model: 10 logged CCR dives in the last 12 months
Minimums from the TDI Standards and Procedures (2026). Equivalent certifications from other agencies are accepted — we confirm yours with you before you book.

Per diver, and your certification is included. Helium, equipment rental and boat fees are separate unless bundled into a package. Ahmed Gabr Signature is the same course, taught personally by Ahmed Gabr.
