FOUNDATION◆Intro to Technical Diving
The bridge from recreational to technical diving.
Double Wing TekTechnical Diving Academy
Build the core skills every technical diver needs — precise buoyancy and trim, gas planning, and a rig that works with you. Then take your first planned decompression dives.
FOUNDATION◆The bridge from recreational to technical diving.
LEVEL 02◆Enriched-air mixes up to 100% oxygen — the foundation of mix diving.
LEVEL 03◆Your first true technical certification — staged decompression done properly.
Add helium so your head stays clear at depth, and pick up the sidemount, wreck-penetration and DPV skills that open the Red Sea's biggest dives.
DEEP AIR◆Deep-air diving to 55 metres with full staged decompression.
LEVEL 04◆Add helium and go deep — the gateway to serious exploration.
LEVEL 05◆The deepest open-circuit certification we teach — hypoxic trimix to 100 metres.
SPECIALTY◆Independent cylinders, perfect trim, total redundancy.
SPECIALTY◆Penetrate the Red Sea’s legendary wrecks — with the skills to come back out.
SPECIALTY◆Fly a diver propulsion vehicle — reefs and wrecks beyond finning distance.
Dive silent, bubble-free and far longer on a closed-circuit rebreather — and learn to mix and analyse your own gas.
FLAGSHIP◆Go silent. Recycle your gas, extend your range, dive deeper for longer.
TECHNICIAN◆Blend your own enriched-air nitrox — safely and accurately.
TECHNICIAN◆Blend trimix and helium-based mixes for technical diving.

The usual order is Intro to Technical Diving → Advanced Nitrox → Decompression Procedures → Trimix → Advanced Trimix. Extended Range is an optional deep-air step after Decompression Procedures, and Advanced Trimix accepts either Extended Range or Trimix. The specialties — Sidemount, Advanced Wreck and DPV — slot in alongside once your foundations are solid, and CCR rebreather is its own track for divers with technical experience. Not sure? The My Pathway tool maps your route in under a minute.
For Intro to Technical Diving (TDI): an Open Water certification (or equivalent), 25 logged open water dives and a minimum age of 18 (15 with parental consent). Each course page lists its exact agency prerequisites.
Intro to Tech (2–3 days), Advanced Nitrox (2 days), Decompression Procedures (3–4 days) and Trimix (4–5 days) add up to roughly 11–14 training days. Logged experience is the bigger factor: TDI requires 100 logged dives before Trimix, so most divers spread the pathway across several trips.
Every course is offered at two prices: Standard, taught by our technical instructors, and Ahmed Gabr Signature — the identical curriculum taught personally by Ahmed Gabr, holder of the world record for the deepest scuba dive. Signature runs about 35% above Standard.
Yes — every price on this page includes your certification. Helium, equipment rental and boat fees are separate unless a course states otherwise; Advanced Trimix includes all helium and trimix fills.
Yes, and it's common — Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures are usually trained together as one decompression package. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and level and we'll build the block that fits.
Advanced Trimix — full hypoxic mixes for open-circuit diving to 100 metres, the deepest open-circuit certification we offer. Beyond that, the path continues on closed-circuit rebreathers with mixed-gas CCR training.
